5 Ways To Lose Weight Fast Before Levelling Out At A Healthy Weight

Photo from Pixabay

The harsh reality of life is that there is no magic cheat to gain the perfect body forever. If you truly wish to maintain your look and health, it’ll be necessary to adopt a sustainable strategy. Nonetheless, failure to see positive results in the first few weeks of a health kick can seriously damage your hopes of staying on track. Starting your transformation in style to gain quick weight loss before settling into a more sustainable long-term plan is key. Here are five simple solutions.

Opt For HIIT
High-Intensity Interval Training is a great way to lose weight quickly. In truth, you’ll probably keep it in your workout schedule for the long haul too. For the immediate challenge, though, focusing solely on HIIT cardio is a great way to lose weight. Wearing a fitness band to track calorie burns and gain the right frame of mind is useful too. The competitive nature will inspire results.

The fun factor is a key ingredient in the recipe for success, and enjoying a range of activities is vital for the long-term situation. For now, shedding the pounds is where your fun starts.

Choose An Extreme Diet
Nutrition is a hugely influential part of any healthy living strategy. If you’re eager to lose weight fast, there are several options at your disposal. Meal replacements can work but may leave you feeling hungry. The carnivore diet, or an alternative low-carb plan, can work wonders. You’ll drop the pounds rapidly and can significantly aid your metabolism for the long haul.

Opting for this type of diet rather than meal replacements can allow you to maintain it for longer. Just be sure to replace any lost vitamins and nutrients.

Change Your Life Habits
Physical activity shouldn’t be limited to the gym. Increasing your exercise throughout the day can have a seriously positive influence. Cycling to work or walking to the gym can burn a few extra calories and keep your metabolism on its toes. Turning housework and other chores into a workout can also aid the cause. It may also increase your enjoyment.

It’s unlikely that you’ll be ready to keep this up for the long haul due to time constraints and the need for balance. Nonetheless, it can give you a serious short-term boost.

Target Water Weight
Water retention will increase your weight and size. While it’s not a huge problem, losing this can be a great way to promote quick transformations. Avoiding your food intolerances is a crucial step to consider while a morning coffee can support water loss too. Dandelion extract is another ingredient that’ll help you lose water weight at a rapid rate.

You could easily lose a few pounds and an inch or two from the stomach in this way. It’s arguably the easiest solution at your disposal.

Get Surgery
Finally, you could choose surgery or medical procedures. CoolSculpting, liposuction, and gastric bands are three of many options. If this is the route you wish to take, additional research is required.

[Review] Plan:Eat Diet Delivery

Okay so this is my third attempt at making diet deliveries work for me and so far, (I'm) so baaaaaaad.

The good thing with Plan:Eat is that it's the most affordable (so far) among its competitors. While others would charge a gross amount of ₱1,700 to ₱1,900 for 1200cal/week, Plan:Eat only bills you ₱1,300 and that already includes delivery. Havey!

You can trust Plan:Eat to be true to the caloric content of your meals, but if you're more picky and is sensitive to the macro ratio of their servings, go look somewhere else 'cos as far as I've observed, their meals don't seem that balanced hehe. For me though, since I'm only looking into cutting my food intake, I couldn't care less about the protein > carbs > fat ratio. Well, you could say that if I only wanted to eat less I could've just bought my own food and try to eat less with my own efforts, BUT CAN I REALLY DO THAT? lol

The problem with their meals is that it kinda beats the purpose of healthy living and eating a balanced diet. Imagine if you're trying to beef up and you subscribe to their 2000 calorie meal plan to offset your workout routine, I don't think your body would get the right sustenance to keep those muscles pumped.

Anyway, here's my take on their Asian menu:

Day 1: Woooh sarap!

Sorry, forgot to take off the covers!
I super love the Chicken Ginger Jook! It's really just a fancy name for chicken aroz caldo haha but it's very savory. The matcha choco-chip muffin tasted repulsive at first because the matcha is too strong, but eventually I started to like it! I don't drink Nescafe 3-in-1 so I didn't touch it, saved me 12.2g of sugar yesssss (lol as if)!

I ate my lunch and dinner meals at the same time late at night and hoooooly they were so yummy.

And thus I slept with a happy tummy.

Day 2: Hmmmmm

Stupid me microwaved the butter cheese toast and kaya spread so the bread went all soggy and the spread's container got deformed lol. Anyway, I just had to let them cool down so I could eat them in their proper form hehe. Good thing the spread didn't taste like plastic. Uhm, it was okay hehe. Not a fan of toast, and the kaya spread tastes like bukayo.

I didn't like my lunch, I'm not a fan of katsu and the serving was really small so I didn't enjoy it that much. I liked the sesame slaw though. :) I ate the apple and coconut-corn pudding (i.e. maja blanca) as dessert cos I'm still so hungry haha.

The beef pho was the only thing I liked in this set.

Day 3: Errr

Breakfast was weird. The texture of the okonomiyaki and the rice cake (ie. puto) doesn't complement each other, They're both so dry. Lunch was a bit better though! I liked the rice pilaf (ie. namnam rice, or that's just me lol) and bulgogi with veggies. I was a bit worried for dinner cos I don't like laksa but hmm it tastes okay naman! Haha

I noticed there's always anise in their meals. There's one in Day 1 lunch, another in Day 2 dinner, and this time I bit one in my laksa. Wow. Such Asian.

Day 4: Redemption at last!

Everything tasted good! The Japchae was not too savory but the serving is good. Kimchi rice tasted nice too and it's not that spicy so yeyy. Pan de coco tasted nostalgic haha. Pork asado and steamed buns = deconstructed siopao. It's cute.

Day 5: Last ko na to

I ate super late 'cos I thought they forgot to deliver my food, only to find out it's been sitting at the ground floor lobby of our building because the guard (who's new) didn't take it upstairs to my office! That means it's been outside the ref for more than 12 hours. Aaaaargh.

I can only comment on the bangus with veggies 'cos it's the only one that didn't spoil. I love it! It's a very simple meal, kaso white rice sya so, yeyy calories! Haha I actually finished the egg drop soup even though it tasted pasira na, I thought baka ganun talaga lasa ng egg drop soup na madaming kung ano anong gulay so yeahh. I must be so hungry to overlook that.

The soba noodles with chicken and peanut sauce smelled weird too. It's my first time to encounter this dish so, again, I gave it the benefit of the doubt na baka ganun talaga sya. I endured a couple of forks, thinking this isn't so bad, it's like kare kare sauce with super soggy pasta (would you eat that?). Eventually I stopped my nonsense and threw it away. IT WAS REALLY BAD.

The dessert was super yummy though, really cleansed my tongue with all the bad luck I've allowed in haha.

----

Well, I lost a lot... of money, patience, and trust, so I'm never doing this again. In general, I only liked about 50% of the food they delivered so I can't fully recommend it to anyone yet. But if you're looking for cheaper alternatives to calorie counted meals, this will do. Maybe I just got the wrong menu? I was more looking forward to their Italian Menu! Oh yeah, check the menu first before ordering... though I'm not sure if that really helps 'cos meal providers like these like to fanci-fy their dishes to sound sosyal. Ginger Chicken Jook aka Lugaw. Haler.

Also, communication with them is quite a hassle. They're not very responsive even in text. And they will only most likely respond to you if you left a negative feedback on their public accounts. At least diba.

Supercaffeinated

Mondays are slowly becoming bearable in that it gives me another chance to restart my weight loss agenda after failing week after week, so yeah I feel quite hopeful. Here's to wishing I don't disappoint myself again. But to be honest, I don't mind. Damn, I should learn to be hard on myself in this regard.

So this week, I'm back to diet pills. I have three different bottles sitting in my drawer, and today I decided to try Hydroxycut. The others I have are MySlim and Herbalife Total Control.

I bought Hydroxycut at Walmart when I was in the U.S. but delayed on using it after thinking I don't need another supercaffeinated diet pill that's gonna overwork my nervous system and give me headaches. But what have we, I never learn.

I actually have a mild headache right now but I don't mind. What I can say is that it's really good at curbing my appetite. I just don't like that I'm feeling more nervous than ever but the thing is, apart from the 1 cap I took around 9pm, I also drank caffeinated green tea so there goes the extra push.
Ah, can't wait for the elections to end. Watching the VP race results is stressing me out. #LabanLeni por favor.

5 Diets that will Jumpstart your Weight Loss Journey

It's easy getting me to try anything as long as it promises weight loss. And if you know me well enough, you're probably laughing at me right now for attempting to create a post like this. But who's gonna stop me?

I've had it with gyms, pills, slimming teas, and impossible workouts that never really got me to my desired shape. So in this entry, I'd like to focus on healthy diets. After all, don't all the fitness gurus say a healthy lifestyle is 80% diet and 20% exercise? HAHA.

Here are 5 different diets I've tried that have surely helped me jumpstart my journey to a healthier me, except that I wasn't able to maintain them and found my sorry ass rolling back to the start.

Should we rephrase the title?

5 diets that didn't work for me
(that could work for you)

1. Juice Cleanse

This is by far the most effective diet I have ever subscribed to because after 3 days of nothing but pure juice (plus some sneaky crackers and cookies), I lost a noticeable amount of weight and didn't feel deprived at all. I felt strong, clean, and renewed. And true enough, I was ready to take on another buffet treat, bwaha (joke lang)! Too bad it's a pain to maintain cos a day of juice cleanse would hit at Php 1,300/day. Oh well, health is wealth.

Read about how my 3-day experience went!

2. Master Cleanse

aka Lemonade Diet aka Beyonce Diet

This requires a lot of pre-meditation as it will consume you physically, mentally, and spiritually (when you're already on the brink of life and death, and the image of your goddess Beyonce is beckoning you to the afterlife, kidding). This diet is damn hard I quit on Day 1 pa lang 'cos I didn't prepare for it. Well, I did read the Master Cleanse guidebook but that's all I did as far as preparing myself went. After reading the book I was so sold that everything my body needed to reboot itself is contained in lemon juice, grade B maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. My bad that I didn't follow instructions and failed to gradually decrease my food intake and stuff so I suffered terribly on Day 1, feeling so weak and hungry, giving in to my cravings and eventually putting all my money and efforts to waste.

Here's my failed attempt at doing the Master Cleanse. To be fair, even though I have long concluded that this diet is not for me, I believe that it can really jumpstart your weight loss journey to an extent that will motivate you to live healthily ever after!

3. Calorie counted meals

Photo from Lunchbox Diet
The goal in subscribing to calorie counted meals is to accustom your body to eating balanced meals in correct portions. 1200 calories a day, they say, is enough to promote weight loss if sustained for long periods of time. I personally have tried Lunchbox Diet and Princess Kitchen and both have proved helpful if you have no time to plan your meals and don't trust yourself with the portions (like I do). I would suggest subscribing to this after finishing a Juice Cleanse to extend that feeling-healthy feeling while introducing solids foods again to your body. :)

Don't forget that sometimes it's not enough to rely on these diets alone to stay healthy, you have to supplement yourself with vitamins too! This is the least you can do if you find it hard to commit your entire meals to a specific diet with meager portions. What's one tablet daily for a productive day?

I take Enervon everyday, as suggested by most friends and family, specially since I'm working the night shift. It's effective in keeping my immune system intact and providing me with energy. Diets tend to make us weak on the first days or so, so don't skip on your vitamins, you'll need it!

4. Soup diet

Yummy tomato soup!
We've been constantly rolling our eyes over infomercials cos they sound like a load of crap. But heyy, for the first time we bit into the trap (stepped onto the crap) and purchased the Soup Mate Pro (basically a hybrid of a blender and a water heater). It came with a 7 Day Soup Diet booklet that contains recipes for a variety of totally tasteless and foul looking soups. Why do they have to look so delicious on screen? Oh, right.

Good thing is, it's easy to alter the recipes so we kindof added pampasaraps to lighten the burden of getting into this diet.

The result? It's good to know we're being consistent with eating vegetables. That's all. LOL. Will make a separate review of the Soup Mate Pro one day! :D

5. CGN diet (Chrono-geno Nutrition Diet)

Source
Oh this. I remember being so excited to try this because it's personalized based on my blood type.

I had to pay to have access to a portal containing a detailed meal program complete with grocery list and recipes, an active forum of dieters, and an effective customer support system manned by their very own nutritionists and dieticians. They really answered all my questions, encouraged me to keep up with the program even though I kept on complaining that I have no time to do the grocery, cook my food, let alone shell out more money than I paid for the membership HAHA. I was so whiny. And fat.

But then I liked this program. Looking back, the recipes aren't that hard to cook and meals are quite easy to prepare. You'll get used to it. Plus, it's really masarap. I don't usually cook and this forced me to cook my own meals and I loved it. Char.

I chronicled the days I was in this diet, and apparently I failed (HAHA) but I had no regrets. I would gladly do this again!

-----

The ultimate goal of these diets is to promote good health and quite frankly, weight loss is just a consequence. Take this list as a form of suggestion if you're looking for ways to jumpstart your journey to good health. :)

Taste Test: Hollywood Diet Brownie

weight loss fads are really becoming stranger and stranger by the day. from lemonades, to grass-fed butter, and now brownies? yep. for the sweet tooths out there fearing they have to cut off on sugar to get to their desired bodies, fear not and take refuge in Hollywood Diet Brownie's claim of a delicious way to lose weight!

let's see... according to the packaging:
Hollywood Diet -- The first delicious way to loose weight! (is it?). Each Hollywood Diet brownie is individually wrapped for eating on-the-go. Take a tasty meal with you to the office, on the plane, on the road, to the gym, or anywhere else you go.
Directions for use: Enjoy a combination of up to four brownies or cookies per day in place of breakfast and lunch. Alternatively, enjoy as a satisfying snack.
Suggested schedule: One brownie for breakfast, midmorning snack, lunch, and midafternoon snack. Eat a sensible dinner (see suggested recipes on our website). Exercise regularly -- it's good for your heart and good for your figure.
All right, off to the experience!

Taste Test

it's kindof dry, with a tangy fruitcake taste to it albeit without alcohol. but it does taste like your regular brownie. it's yummy!

Serving Size
is normal for a brownie but for a breakfast or lunch meal? NOPE. well i had my doubts, how could this small treat serve as an entire meal? turns out it curbs your appetite. i ate it slowly, drinking water in between some 2 or 3 small bites.

The Feels
did i feel hungry after eating it? did it really curb my appetite for hours? to be honest, not really. i ate it for breakfast at around 10am in the morning, and still got hungry during lunch at around 12nn. it's not the type of hunger that a brownie could satiate though, so i went on to eat a real lunch (i.e. my baon). i ate another brownie during snacktime around 4pm, and come dinner time (7-ish), i was hungry again so i ate what i would.

my feeling is that if i had followed the directions specifically, brownies only for breakfast, lunch, and snacks, i would've felt a considerable difference in my appetite. but i didn't, because seriously i don't feel comfortable eating brownies for lunch.

Would I recommend it?
i would recommend this if what's stalling your weight loss journey is your sugar intake. this could make a really good substitute for all the sweets you want to devour. it's sweet enough and tastes good!

Where to buy?
Hollywood Diet Brownies is available in all S&R Supermarkets (Alabang, The Fort, Congressional Ave. QC), Unimart Greenills, and Makati Supermart in Alabang.

Be Battle Ready with Battle Brew

Okay! this month was chock full of fitness opportunities for me, and being that i'm in the struggling stage when it comes to motivating myself into building the right discipline to achieve a havey na havey body, every opp gets me immensely excited, esp if it's about working out (and eating of course)!

The first waking hours of my valentines day was spent at Crossfit Insurrecto (at Il Terrazo, Tomas Morato, QC) for the opening of Battle Brew kiosk. tsk, so romantic haha. part of the program was to introduce us to crossfit (which gained more respect points from me now!), and to battle us out with other bloggers in a WOD (workout of the day) challenge. out team lost BWAHA but it was sooo fun as i've been aching for a good workout for so long. the WOD reminded me of our wasakan days at MARS. grabe ang sarap lang magpaka-fit. hahaha

So what's Battle Brew?

Battle Brew is your newest weight management and fitness buddy that will help you burn fat, boost focus, and improve your health.

How? Battle Brew's main product isn't actually coffee, but its MCT Oil. it's derived from pure coconut oil, sans the flavor, odor, and other types of triglycerides (fats!) present in it -- short chain, and long chain. ano raaaaw?

okay, let me lecture you a bit cos i learned a lot that day. plus, i actually kindof reminisced my organic chemistry class (which i failed twice lololol) with all these frkn compounds.

MCT stands for medium-chain triglycerides, a type of saturated fat that is digested easily by the body because it passes straight to the liver, therefore providing instant and sustained energy! Did i get you there or what?!

Okay, even with the ironic suggestion of eating fat to lose weight, the science behind the diet is actually fool proof. numerous studies have proven it (like this one), so it's safe to say that this isn't some fad diet that's bound to be debunked by myth busters someday. haha

So how do you use it?

Add a tablespoon to your morning or pre-workout coffee, and that's it! For more weight loss benefits, chip in another tablespoon of clarified butter. Battle Brew sells a booster pack which contains MCT oil and GHEE clarified butter from their site, so yeahhh you may stock up there. :)

and yes, if you haven't noticed... Battle Brew is pretty much your local Bulletproof Coffee vendor hehe

if you're not a coffee person, suuure there are lots of other ways to use MCT oil. use it on oil based dishes, on your salad dressing, your tea, protein shakes, smoothies, etc. hihi

Anyway, as with any weight management tool... you'll hardly see a difference if you don't couple it without proper workout.

Smart move from the people behind Battle Brew cos they teamed up with gyms and fitness centers (cos they workout too!) to introduce people who already workout to improve their fitness experience, and to encourage those who don't workout (yet) to try and go to the gym sometime to exercise (and not just to stock up on MCT oil lol).

Where do I buy?

You may get your dose of Battle Brew from the following gyms and Crossfit boxes:

why i quit the Master Cleanse hahaha

if you're curious, the Master Cleanse is a detox method using lemonade diet for 10 days. for the span of 10 full days, you are only to drink lemonade and water. no other food.

wednesday this week, i was so eager to start the master cleanse diet b/c of the super long weekend, kasi that meant less temptations kasi nasa bahay lang ako, and being on laxative meant na dapat nasa bahay lang ako hahaha

... so that night after work, i dropped by healthy options trinoma to purchase the ingredients! kaso out of stock na ung pure lemon nila, even at the sm north branch, so i asked them if megamall and shang still has stocks (after all, i expected a lot of people are going to be on the same diet this week haha), buti na lang meron!

... so i went from trinoma to shang via mrt and purchased the stuff on the picture above. here's a breakdown if you're curious:

- 354ml cadia 100% organic grade B maple syrup (php 799.00)
- 370ml lakewood organic fresh pressed pure lemon (php 220.00)
- 15g simply organic powdered cayenne (php 165.00)
- 16 bags traditional medicinals organic smooth move peppermint laxative tea (php 269.00)
TOTAL (php 1453.00)

... oyan, pagkabili ko nyan, i was supposed to ride the mrt back kaso the line was sooo disappointing. super duper haba tapos stop-entry pa. di nako sanay mag-mrt so sinukuan ko to. magb-bus na lang ako. but then it's much worse outside pala! the stretch of people waiting for buses is soooo looooong! but i was hopeful naman, i know na when i walk farther back, the density of people will decrease and there'll be plenty of seats sa bus. HAHA i was wrong. i was walking and walking and literally laughing at myself na for ever giving up on mrt shaw. my feet are sore and it's so mainit pero natatawa na lang ako. exercise lang yan, yan.

okay, so i exercised! from shaw, i walked all the way back (passing by the ricoa building which smelled suuuuper good! ganon ba talaga don? laging amoy chocolate? >8D), and ironically padami lang ng padami ang tao sa daan. a lot of people were already resting on the sidewalk. ako naman, what are you waiting for? anyway, my walking led me to mrt boni station, so nag-mrt na lang ako. tawang-tawa ako sa sarili ako cos i walked a mile away from the mrt station just to ride the mrt rin pala in the end. haha thank God cos mejo maluwag sa boni! and kuya guard allowed us to ride the priority coach pa so hindi siksikan sa loob>XD hihi i was further relieved when i looked down at cubao area,  all the bus terminals were jam packed with people! grabe there was not a patch of ground visible! hanggang kalsada puno ng tao. buti na lang di ako nag-bus. hehe

... okaaaaaaay back to the diet, assuming you're going to follow the minimum of 6 glasses a day (8oz/240ml/glass), your stock will take you 4 days, that's 24 glasses, php 363.25/day, and roughly php 60/glass! not bad, in fairness! after which you have to shell out some more for the maple syrup and lemon hehe.

... if you're curious about the recipe eto pala sya:
*for 1 glass (8oz/240ml)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp pure lemon
- 1/10 tsp cayene
- purified filtered water (pwede warm, pwede cool)

*drink laxative tea before bedtime, and first thing in the morning.
ako, i just use 1 tea bag for bedtime (1st dip) and morning (2nd dip) para tipid, and also to avoid bathroom heavy mornings, esp if you're in the office! haha

... anway, don't get excited no. as the title suggests, i failed the diet! i cheated on day 1, and again on day 2. so i stopped. bakit? because i realized that THIS DIET IS NOT FOR ME! i started day 1 right, i drank tea in the morning, and lemon juice for breakfast, but i got hungry/tempted during lunchtime so hindi ko na pinigilan sarili ko. HAHA sabi ko, i'm not supposed to starve if it's a healthy diet. hahaha pero tinuloy ko parin even with the solid foods i ate, sayang ung binili ko eh. kumbaga, added refreshment na lang ung lemonade di na talaga ko nag-diet.

... waste of money, yes. a desperate attempt to lose weight? YES. i'm sorry, but if you really want a healthy way to lose weight, this is not the way to go. i was halfway on the master cleanse book and i was very convinced that it's healthy, that it's gonna turn my body alkaline, and that it's going to rid me of my allergies for good. but then i was starving! sino ba namang hindi papayat sa 10 days liquid fast diba? haha

... eto suggestion ko, if you're willing din naman to undergo a liquid fast to lose weight, i suggest you take a fruits/veggies juice diet na lang. i've tried it and i never craved for solid food, in fact i was never hungry! 6 bottles of pure cold-pressed juice a day, and i was full the entire day without the bloat! >XD here's my experience on juice cleanse!

... another suggestion, since i'm not confident about the idea of just taking lemonade for 10 days, why not just include it in your daily eating habits? say a glass of warm lemon water every morning! i read it works wonders, so why not give it a try! >:D

3-day juice detox (with Sly Diet)

naks jumu-juice diet. :)

the reason why i wanted to try this out is because i've been hearing good reviews about the effects of detoxifying/cleansing via juice diet. and you know, a lot of celebrities are vouching on this healthy habit too and knowing their vanity, it has to be effective.

nakiki-uso lang talaga ko. LOL. but kidding aside, i thought this is a good jumpstart to eating clean and healthy. kung pwede lang mabuhay na ganito lang but that's gonna be so expensive. hahaha

so let's start! madaming sikat dyan and endorsed by celebrities, i personally wanted to try Detoxify Bar but they don't deliver to our place at QC, and you have to reserve at least 1 day to have your juice processed. same goes with Skinny Juicery and Fitness Potions. you have to reserve at least a day before your planned diet, and they have very limited delivery areas too.

that's when i found Sly Diet! actually di ko alam kung pano ko nahagilap to, i think i was just browsing fb pages offering juice diets and i came across it! :D Fortunately, they deliver at fairview area so ang saya ko lang! haha anyway,

Sly Diet has 5 flavors available and they're numbered too so i took them in that order for the entire day hehe

1. Power Trip
spinach, parsley, celery, brocolli, sweet potato, apple and ginger
i liked the taste of this soo much cos it reeks majorly of celery and i love celery!

2. Alkaline Divine
lemon, pink grapefruit, melon, cayenne, honey and alkaline water
this one's really spicy yet refreshing. i love how the melon tasted in this! hehe

3. True Love
red grapes, beet, lychee, apple
i loooove lychee and grapes, and together they're true love haha.

4. Berry Brilliance
goji, cranberry, cherry, pure coconut juice
this is probably the clearest drink. no residual stuff and bits. i also like how this tastes, pwede inumin ng derecho perfect pang quench ng uhaw! >XD

5. Vanity Affair
carrot, apple, cucumber, ginger, honey
i love carrots so i definitely loved how this tastes!

they didn't really provide me with a "program" on how to take them so i just followed the number in the bottles. haha i drank them in this order

6am - upon waking - tea (para warm hehe)
8am - breakfast - (1) Power Trip
10am - morning snack - (2) Alkaline Divine
12nn - lunch - (3) True Love
3pm - afternoon snack - (4) Berry Brilliance
5pm - early dinner - (5) Vanity Affair
8pm - dinner - green tea (i drink lipton green tea with mint)

but hey i didn't really follow the strictly no solid food diet haha whenever i crave for something solid i eat crackers. hehe i also eat oatmeal raisin cookies along with my nighttime tea para masaya.

and in fairness! i hardly felt hungry throughout the days. as in! sapat na ung maka-4 crackers a day ako! hoy 640 calories din yun sa isang araw, mukang mabigat, but it helped ease the psychological hunger. but really, during my day 1 i only ate 3 cookies during the night. i never craved for anything during the day, i felt full but not bloated.

it was a very refreshing experience!

orayt, on to their prices (which are, of course, subject to change):

Small - 250mL - Php 175
Medium - 350mL - Php 220
Large - 500mL - Php 340

they deliver for free (at least for now?) and one thing to note is that they don't have insulated bags hehe they put the bottles in paper bags hehe so i suggest you buy your own bag if you want to bring it to the office (i had my juices delivered in the office so no hassle derecho sa ref hehe)

a day of full cleansing costs Php 1,320 hehe
for optimum results you may do it for 3 days straight. i did it for the first time and i felt better and lighter. some (dalawa lang actually hahaha) people say na mejo pumayat na nga ko. haha but the point is really to jumpstart a clean eating habit and this program definitely launched me for a good start!

you can opt for a full day cleanse like what i did, or for beginners, you can start by replacing your meals with Power Trip at least twice a day. just carry on with the smell, i'm sure that for those who are not used to eating greens they'll find everything disgusting. so sanayan lang din!

for more details you may reach them at www.slydiet.com

how about you, have you tried or are you planning to try juice detox? share your thoughts! :)
