Watched: A Korean Odyssey

Watched this over Netflix and had a hard time finishing the series because it became dragging for me (sorry!). It's really from TVN but it says it's a Netflix original? I don't know the difference hehe. If you're not familiar with it, go ahead and watch it! Otherwise, you may want to skip this one.

Photo from kdramastowatch.com

TVN makes really golden fantasy series, the effects and CG aren't perfect but it's better than most networks' attempts at adding special effects to their segments haha. It does feel a bit like Goblin, which came from the same network, so my expectations were high. They have so many similar themes:

There's a chosen child who grows up to be the love interest of a supernatural being
A supernatural being who's trapped, cursed, or waiting for something
This chosen being has a monumental task she needs to carry out before she dies
Which would mean the death of his lover
So there goes their dilemma
And of course the chosen one has to die, as a sacrifice or something
Oh and there's this rich butler too who has served this powerful supernatural being for ages

It was pretty. The story was catchy. There are so many lovable characters. My favorite is Richie and Lucifer King Woo Hee! The love story though? I don't knooooow. There wasn't any chemistry between Jin Seon-mi and Son O-gong at the start.

I was too distracted with Son O-gong's hair too that I couldn't see him as super pogi or something. Hindi naman talaga sya pogi, he has charisma but his hair kinda killed half of it. I was hoping they'd leave his original unkempt hair back when he was locked at the Marble Mountains, but no. Whatever fashion statement they're trying to introduce with his hair, GOOD LUCK.

Anyway. I liked the development of the story, from the revelation of Jin Seon-mi being Samjang up to the point when she learned what she has to sacrifice in order to save the world. However, her death was so blah. She got stabbed, that's it. And she bled to death just in time for Son O-gong to banish the evil dragon to end it all. Which I also have a problem with. All throughout the series it was kindof established how the deities up there have been playing with their lives and manipulating them to further their cause. Two of the most powerful monsters, Lucifer King Woo Hee and Son O-gong himself were played all along by these scheming white-clad bitches. They needed someone powerful to banish this evil dragon that's set to be unleashed by a misunderstood Priestess. So they manipulated the most powerful ones they know, who also happen to be the most notorious, into doing their bidding. Both of them knew that they're being toyed. They wouldn't have cared if the world perished. They're frkn immortal. But these higher beings? I thought they needed to get punished too. I would've wanted Son O-gong to do his mission completely and still be able torment the higher ups. Actually I was expecting him not to kill the dragon completely but to subdue it enough to become its master, then seal it on the rocky cliffs of Pocheon Art Valley. That would've been awesome. After all,  it's the dieties' fault Jin Seon-mi was destined to die. That's a total revenge for these prying gods. They'd be scared of Son O-gong even more. And Lucifer King would be delighted to know they somehow got back to their awful overlords.

But then. Oh well.

Photo from Soompi

Aaaah Jung Se Ra and Ah San yeo! This zombie is too adorable! Even as an evil priestess I can't bring myself to hate her totally. I knowww, because she's not the real villain right? It was supposed to be Kang Dae Song, the greedy professor turned politician. But his participation in the entire series isn't really engaging. You know who the real villains are? The deities.

Life Lately

Long time no Life Lately so here's a long one!

❱ Reading

Still not finished with Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella, I'm way past the climax and I can't even read through 'til the end. What's wrong with meeee... I don't think I'm ever gonna finish a book this year. :(

On another note, I received an email from Joy of Satan Ministries (whuuuut) via my blog's contact form and I'm kindof looking into the links they gave me. For the love of God I'm alarmed at how they found my blog and even considered sending me reading materials exposing the faith I subscribe to. As a curious Christian, I don't mind reading about other faiths, so I'm onto those links no matter how dark and occult they sound.

❱ Watching

Goblin is doooooone, OTK. This series gave me the most intense roller coaster of emotions I've ever had in my entire KDrama watching life. I'd be laughing like a madman then bawling in grief in a snap. Arguably the best KDrama of 2016. It's made of all the right triggers, unleashing the lunatic in me.

Everything is so cinematic, the music is well-thought of, the lines were written excellently, the songs hit straight to the heart, and of course the cast is daebaaaaak. I will miss this series so much! Congrats to everyone who worked on Dokkaebi! Kamsahamnidaaaaa (감사합니다). Ah yes, a syllabic word and its Hangul counterpart, how could I forget to mention it means Thank You,

Legend of the Blue Sea I didn't finish because Goblin took all of me, might resume sometime.

Jealousy Incarnate, totally forgotten! But whenever I resume I feel oddly glued, until it's time to prepare for work. Argh.

Source: kdramasanonymous.wordpress.com

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
I finished in two days 'cos it's super swaaaaaaag. Light, fun, and with an adorable mix of characters. Both of the leads have grown so much as actors and I feel so happy watching them in the spotlight at last. Both Lee Sung-Kyung and Nam Joo-Hyuk were in Cheese in the Trap, who would've thought they'd make a great pair! I've watched LSK in Doctors too and her character was so different there. NJH - I didn't really expect him to land a lead this soon 'cos there's nothing too stellar about his role in CITT and Scarlet Heart but maaaan he's quite a revelation this time!

I'm saddened by the fact it did poorly in ratings though because it went against Legend of the Blue Sea's timeslot. I mean, guyyyssss did you even watch?! Legend has a freaking lot of boring segments and while we have Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji-Hyun in it, WFKBJ is still tons better than LOTBS! I even left it for Goblin (understandably so 'cos that drama is just on a different level altogether lol).

Hay, reminds me of how Scarlet Heart: Ryeo fared badly in national ratings because Love in the Moonlight trumped it so hard. LITM is good, but SHR really had a better story, and a more engaging love triangle... square? pentagon? Such a fine reverse harem they got there.

There goes the stark contrast between local and international preference.

Right now I just started with Hwarang, bored by the first episode, but thankful that the plot is starting to pick up on the following eps. ❱ Listening
I don't have a specific playlist right now but whenever I need to focus I listen to AC/DC.

❱ Thinking

About which P/V (photographer/videographer) to get for our wedding. Initially we didn't have a budget for it 'cos we had no idea how much it would cost. Until one of my friends from college gave us a quote of his services and we thought it's reasonable so we kept him on the list, and took note of his rates as our budget. But now, after looking at numerous suppliers we realized our budget is actually too tight! If we had a bigger budget I'll get Sidedish Project because I love their color grading haha.

❱ Smelling

My smelly jacket

❱ Wishing

We had unli wedding funds haha. Now, what if we were given half a million to spend for our wedding?

We'd be able to invite 200 guests then, so Don Jose Heights Clubhouse will be tight. Will change venue to Oasis Pavilion or Elements at Centris. Get KbyC for catering. Get Veluz or Rosa Clara for my bridal gown, Book Sidedish Project for PV, Amelia Blossoms for flowers, Cruella & Co for the entourage gowns, Unit 406 for the band, EDSA Shang suites for preps, and Team OSS for the photobooth. I haven't covered everything but those are my top of mind dream suppliers.

Now that I'm imagining it, a 500k wedding is too bongga for me, so nope. An event that big without me overseeing it hands-on makes me too worried! Will just keep it simple and save the rest for a bonggang honeymoon instead! <3

It's crazy how I really didn't have any supplier preference until I started looking and reading about them haha. Now I realize how big the wedding market is. A single bride-to-be would probably google a hundred times about it, looking for pegs, suppliers, venues, reviews, etc. What a great opportunity to improve SEO ranking, though of course, competition is hella tight already so I'll just keep writing and do my best containing my wedding blabber in a tag haha.

❱ Wearing

Hoodie, shirt, pants, and sandals.

❱ Loving

My new camera! I bought a Sony a5000 two weeks ago and I got busy exploring it while we were at Singapore last last weekend. I was hunting down the Fuji x70 originally, but I learned that it's been discontinued and the remaining stocks here cost too damn much.

It's a good thing I saw Sony a5000 though 'cos it's a cheaper alternative sporting everything I love about the x70 (compact, mirrorless, and with a flip-up screen). Excited to learn more about photography tuloy lol. During our SG trip I went ahead and shot everything in manual mode, randomly adjusting ISO. shutter speed, and aperture, whatever those are. For the most part I was just looking to get the right exposure for my shots, beats me why I have to adjust so many terms.

Must. learn. more!

Thankfully Sony offers free digital photography workshops to their customers, you just have to sign up here. They have regular schedules at SM Megamall, Glorietta, Filinvest Alabang, and Ayala Cebu. :D

❱ Wanting

To post a Singapore Photo Diary series but I'm too lazy to work on it lol. Hopefully this week!

❱ Needing

To sell a couple of things but I'm too tamad to post them online arg. Anybody interested in a Logitech C920 HD Pro Webcam? It's a crazy good webcam, I'm selling mine for 3,500. Brand new condition. Opened for testing only. Bought from Amazon US, shipped via Uskoop. Perfect for vloggers. RFS: of course I need money and I just bought a new camera so I won't have any use for it. :D

 Feeling

No sense of urgency for this script I'm working on due two days later. It's hard and I'm in quite a slump, makes me want to forget and abandon it entirely, kindof what I'm doing right now by procrastinating on it, but course it won't last long. Will have to deal with this eventually! Haaaay.

Hope you're doing great! :D The company gave us tikoys last week along with our Chinese horoscope for the year and mine sounds pretty good. Love, wealth, and career look promising. It even mentioned it's a good time to get married this year lol. My health forecast reads accurately too, beware of injuries from metal objects and exercise regularly. At the rate of my physical activity the only chance I'm getting injured from a metal object is from falling off my brass bed. Regular exercise, yep, that has always been in my annual horoscope, I mean new year's resolution.

Goblin Wallpapers?

My current KDrama obsession, starring Gong Yoo (Train to Busan, Coffee Prince), Lee Dong Wook (My Girl), Kim Go-eun (Cheese in the Trap), and Yoon In Na (My Love from the Star).

The plot is great, the cast is awesome, the music is perfeeeect. I mean, OMG, I love love love the music I even made a piano cover of one of their BGM "The Path of the Deceased". Check it out here in my instagram. :)

I've been looking for HD wallpapers of their silhouette scene but I can't find any so I just downloaded a 720p copy of Episode 3 and screenshot the hell of that epic scene. You know what I'm talking about!

Here they are, I dunno if these would pass as wallpapers but the dimensions are around 2500 x 1300 pixels, the size of my screen hehe.

The chills this segment gave me. The menacing strides, Goblin's tear-shot eyes, the fog and lights. Aaaargh.

Life Lately and a slur of random thoughts

❉ First of all, Happy Holidaaaays! Here's a square card for ya! The watercolor elements are part of a freebie pack at Creative Market. Font used is Trendsetter. :)

❉ Apart from that card I also made a couple of others after snagging some free design resources yey. Here you go:

Fictional couple, date, and venue.

This could be for us, I'm just experimenting with black. The date is set but the venue isn't final yet lol. What do you think? :D

❉ Most of my favorite lifestyle bloggers have not updated in weeks/months 'cos they're too busy travelling and posting snaps instead. Also, they're all kindof moving to youtube, doing this vlogging thing. Of course, I'm on to it too. Charot. But no really, I just ordered an HD webcam at Amazon via Uskoop (which is taking too long already...) so I could try vlogging too HAHA. I'll sell the thing if it doesn't work. LOL

❉ You know when you consider yourself an introvert and people think you like to be left alone in thought. And they think you're this kind of person who's really deep and shiz cos yeah, that's how quiet people are, right? Nope. I just realized I'm this kind of dumb quiet person who likes to be left alone. Just that. I don't really ponder upon things and humanity and philosophy and blah. Which makes me kindof sad. I always thought I was a thinker, turns out I can only think lol.

❉ On to the wedding preps! Thinking about my friends and family and the possible people I could ask to become our ninongs and ninangs, I realized that gooooosh am I really so withdrawn to people? Reading through my guest list I can see that oh wow I know A LOT of people, but when I ask myself if I want to see them on my wedding, I get second thoughts. Haha! Errr...

Truth be told, I want to get Oasis Manila as our venue, but it's just too expensive. I've already settled into a very simple theme, a simple gown, and a simple setup overall. But if we upgrade the venue, my gown will look too simple, my styling too weak, then suddenly we have to upgrade everything! Aaaargh. Bakit ba kasi ang gastos magpa-kasal lol. To be honest, if we weren't both paying for a car and a condo at the same time we'll be able to save up for a more bonggang wedding lol, not that I'm gunning for one but Oasis is really that lovely huhu.

❉ By the way, I started the HCG diet last week. What right timing no. I can't say if it's working yet but it does work as a fab appetite suppressant without the caffeine! I've been stocking on bags upon bags of frozen broccoli florets (from Landers!) too because part of the program is to consume a lot of greens and eat just 500 calories a day. I KNOW RIGHT. I'm killing myself again. But let me just work on this right now and see if I'll lose weight haha!

❉ I'm watching First Kiss for the Seventh Time and it's so freaking oppa overload! I hope they included Song Joong Ki though! I still don't understand how the story works and how ate girl became acquainted with all the boys but I couldn't care less 'cos it's only a short series and those men are but fantasies! Except maybe for Lee Min Ho who's not part of the cards! OMO <3

So, if I were to pick just one of the 6... I'll probably choose Lee Joon Ki 'cos he's the one with the most realistic angle, he's a church oppa, and they (uhm, we. haha) go way back in childhood (who cares if I don't remember lol).
  • Park Hae Jin is also realistic, but he's too workaholic for me.
  • Life will be too dangerous with Chang Wook, though I'm tempted because who doesn't want instant martial arts skills?
  • I don't care about Kai at all, I don't want to learn Chinese either.
  • Hard to let Taecyon off because he seems so sincere, willing to give up everything he has, but then I didn't want him to break off with his family because of me (ang haba ng hair ko ok), and I also didn't want to get kimchi slapped. So, nope.
  • Oh and finally, I love Lee Jong Suk! He's just so charming and perfect and everything but it's gonna be a pain getting caught in his showbiz affairs LOL
Lotte Duty Free must have spent a fortune producing this! Waiting for Lee Min Ho's episode!

❉ Another thing I'm watching right now is The Legend of the Blue Sea starring Lee Min Ho and the immortal Jun Ji Hyun. It's so freaking hilarious! And LOLOLOL at Jo Jung-suk appearing and all the Jealousy Incarnate references HAHAHA. ♪ ♪ ♪ No no no no noooo ♫ ♫ ♫ I swear SBS is doing well with these unsuspecting crossovers haha.

❉ I wanna go home naaaa. I just filed for a leave tomorrow and the next day (30 is PH holiday but it's not in the US so... sad) even though I don't have enough leave credits anymore huhu but I don't care lol.

❉ This snowflake bullet is super cute.

Today

... I noticed how enthusiastic my sister was when we talked about this business we want to put up together. She'll make the products, and I'll take care of branding and marketing. She was so eager. I was so excited. I wanted to make this work because I've never seen her this confident in something.

She would always rant about how being a financial adviser saps all her optimism away. I knew it wasn't for her, but my parents needed someone, one of us, to kind of inherit the business. That or they were just giving her a chance to discover what suits her best. I don't think my sister is happy though.

... I checked a couple of my drafts, and added some more details into them. Somehow I couldn't get myself to publish them even though it's more or less complete. Maybe it's my confidence about them that's hindering me from sharing. Hm.

... My diet is surprisingly working for me. It's been 2 months and I lost around 10 lbs already. Pretty slow, I know. But 1 lb per week is good enough. The goal is to reach 141, which was my weight before I went to the US, then take it easy until 120.

In fairness, I've noticed my portions are getting smaller and I get full easier too. I want to be able to hold on when I take out all my slimming aids (pills and tea). I remember getting some kind of withdrawal when I finished my bottle of Herbalife Total Control. It's not available in the Philippines so I got worried. Then I recalled I still have a bottle of Hydroxycut hiding somewhere. I'm using that right now. Hehe.

... I'm praying that my US Visa application won't be denied. I'm scheduled for interview next week and even though I'm less scared compared to my first time applying, I'm still scared nonetheless. There are just so many red flags with my application. Hay Lord. I wasn't really excited at first, but when I got my interview packet I saw that my dummy booking has a layover at KOREA. WAAAAAAHH!!! As if naman makakalabas ako ng airport no pero juskolooooord KOREAAAAA!

... I'm watching a new KDrama series. It's called "On the way to the airport" and it promotes infidelity in marriage. Err not exactly cos I see the characters are struggling naman haha but gosh the chemistry is just so over the top. I'm questioning my morals right now. Is it even an excuse that both of them are seemingly married to the wrong people? I don't want to think of marriage as something disposable but the dilemma posed in this series is as real as it gets. It's scaring me that a lot would find this relatable.

... I'm taking the regular shift right now. Yey? I was supposed to work midshift but I couldn't sleep so I decided to come early instead. We have a midnight test (that's noon here) so that means no sleep for me cos I just came from the nightshift. On the other hand that means I'm getting more sleep later cos I'm already antok na now na aaarg.

... I want a full body massage.

How are you doing?

Life lately and my KDrama obsession

If you haven't watched any of these feel free to skip, if you intend to watch sorry but there will be spoilers. I'm pretty much just gonna pour out all the feels I have with these amazing dramas. <3

W Two Worlds
Source: doramax264.com
It's almost finished now! For the most part I enjoyed it, especially the first half before Kang Chul woke up from his dream. But after that I'm having a hard time piecing the romance between the two.

Unpopular Opinion #1: It seems like Kang Chul is desperately trying to make it up to Yeon Joo just because he confirmed that he was her lost husband. Whatever happened to his own feelings? Was he even remotely interested with her when they first met after he woke up? It feels like Kang Chul was never really attracted to her after the dream but convinced himself there has to be something about her after reading that his webtoon self was so fond of her. If anything, he was just curious so he decides to court her to see for himself. Nothing wrong with that right? It just didn't feel so genuine. I wasn't kilig. Bleh.

Unpopular Opinion #2: Han Hyo Joo's (Oh Yeon Joo) acting is weak. Sorry, but let me google her facial expressions to drive a point,

It's the same frkn expression all the time. If not neutral, her face just looks surprised and befuddled every time I see her, and don't even get me started with "shouldn't you feel the same if you're on her shoes?", YEAH but not always. The drama presents confusion, anger, happiness, and fear in so many levels and so far she has only succeeded in looking confused.

Unpopular Opinion #3: The plot is unique and different and drives us crazy sometimes but at some point it became too unpredictably boring. I can't explain, but let me say that just because the story is unpredictable doesn't mean that it has a lot of twists. There is no twist in this story, just pure unpredictable resolutions that doesn't really add to the wow factor of the plot. I felt like there were a lot of variables being added to the story just so Kang Chul could properly close the conflict between the two worlds without being cast out as a main character, because then he would cease to exist.

I probably just don't understand the whole concept they're trying to pull. What I did like though is the idea that the W webtoon is merely a bridge between two worlds, in which the artist is able to control a character by drawing it out, explains why there was so much resistance in Kang Chul's part when he was being killed out of his own series. But that's just stupid... I still have so many questions lol.

Anyway.

Love in the Moonlight
Source: i.ytimg.com/vi/7xFAVcexVsQ/maxresdefault.jpg
The main characters are sooo friggin adorable and perfect for each other. This reminds me so much of Sungkyunkwan Scandal but LITM is tons cuter because the two main characters look super good together, and it's so nice to see Kim Yoo-Jung grow up to be such a pretty girrrrll. Last time I saw her was at Moon Embracing the Sun. She hasn't changed! :)

I don't know how possible it is to fake your way into the palace when it comes to your gender unless you're a super buff girl with abnormally high testosterone but it's funny having to think these men were fooled into thinking such a cutie patootie lad like Hong Sam Nom is actually a guy. Well, dramas.

This series got me soooo frustrated every time there's a potential kissing scene that doesn't unfold because duh the crown prince has not come to terms with his apparent gayness yet. We'll see in the future episodes though. Is it that easy to develop an unusually soft spot for a friend just because he looks like a member of the opposite sex?

Now the conflict will always be the same. If you were the crown prince and you find yourself falling in love with your personal eunuch, questioning your sexual preference along the way, getting stressed out because maybe gays are taboo in ancient Korea and you might just be facing a potential dethronement... then you learn that the object of your love, confusion, and stressed innards is actually a legit woman... would you be angry first or relieved?

KDramas have always played around with the same plots ever since but somehow they manage to pull it off. Never mind that the story is unoriginal, putting new characters on the table is enough to bring it a new light. At least we get a new chemistry to observe.

Cinderella and the Four Knights

Perfect example of recycled plots. Sorry, not entirely hehe but it is similar in a lot of ways to Boys Over Flowers. Or maybe that's because Ahn Jae Hyun acts like Lee Min Ho, which I could only account to the fact that Jae Hyun is married to Ku Hye-Sun who played Guem Jan Di in BOF, so naturally he would seek for advice on how to play the role. IDEK if that follows.

Anyway. I started off rooting for the second male MC which is Hyun Min (Ahn Jae Hyun), but right now i'm jumping ship to the first male MC because his character is starting to be nicer haha. That's all. It's a pretty light watch with a very very annoying second female character who (aside from having a poor actress in its cast), OF COURSE, is obsessed with love triangles, placing herself wherever there's a guy and a girl and no other girl in between. Sobrang landi diba. Grr.

Eun Ha Won (Park So Dam) just grows on you. I'm starting to like her character better! :D

I must admit I was dead hooked on this series when it started but right now, it's kind of dawning on me how immature and silly their characters are, and that there's not really much to expect from the story. That or I'm just too immersed with period dramas that I can't take a breather with shallow story lines right now.

Okay, last but not least to complete my life lately...

Moon Lovers; Scarlet Heart Ryeo
Source: seoulrhythms.com
There's just so much eye candy in this drama, nevermind if I don't approve of IU's acting. She can be cute sometimes. I've made several screenshots of the 4th and 8th princes faces and is close to building a shrine dedicated to worshiping their uhm faces. Their acting is so real, specially Kang Haneul (Wang Wook): his expressions, his eyes, even his jawline lol it's killing me. Which is why I'm torn between shipping Hae Soo with the 8th prince or the 4th prince. There's just so much emotion in Wang Wook I can literally feel his struggle fighting his feelings for Hae Soo.

This series is just oozing with sex appeal. Who cares if the guys are basically covered in layers of traditional clothing and sport long hair and skirts all the time, whenever they draw their swords I swoon and suddenly become ready to face death. Kidding.

Grabe lang how my insides are squealing whenever there's a romantic scene OMGEHHH. Arg. Watching on-going series like these spells torture to an avid fangirl like me. I can only rewind the previous episodes and screenshot like crazy. Arggg.

Currently waiting for episode 6 to be uploaded somewhere...

Ah yes, that's about how my life is lately.

How you doin?

KDramarama

In between watching my scripts run and obsessively refreshing the messages tab to check the errors, I heaved a sigh and figured life is only as interesting as I make it to be. In short, I'm bored and out of things to do to break the seemingly dragging routine that is my day to day (night to night to be exact) job.

Source: viki.com
After Descendants of the Sun, I didn't know what to do to keep the fleeting feeling the show has brought me, I figured it's mostly because I adore Joong-Ki so I watched Innocent Man, if only to satiate my craving to see him more.

Source: marnelfundales.wordpress.com
Then, just like any series, it ended, and again, I didn't know what to do. But here I realized it wasn't really Joong-Ki, but Song-Song's overall chemistry that I've come to admire, so I learned I was just really looking for kilig. Seeing that there's no other Song-Song series out there. I decided to ignore my feelings for Joong-Ki and watch another high-rated drama as suggested by KissAsian.

Source: dramafever.com
Cheese in the Trap definitely goes to my favorite KDrama list. The story is engaging, stressful at times, and I hated the lead guy so much 'cos he's manipulative, creepy, mysterious, and is borderline psychotic. That's why the second guy syndrome (when you prefer the other guy more than the lead guy) is so strong with this one! Anyway, when it ended, I didn't feel the need to watch anymore dramas cos work was getting more demanding.

Then my life suddenly went to a stall. When did I become so heavily glued to watching KDramas that my entire life literally stops when my mind isn't in anyeong mode? For a while I was even trying to learn to write in Korean. FTR, I learned to write Korea in Korean! That's as far as it goes haha.

Anyway, after a while (one week and counting) of not watching any drama, I've managed to put my mind to another diversion, my favorite of all... DRAWING! K. Will be posting an art dump soon (or not cos I may be tamad).

Happy weekend goyz!

happy labor day

// finally sold my ipad air

i really wanted to get rid of it asap cos i badly wanted to buy a sony xperia z1 compact already! HAHAHA so last week i was finally able to sell it out to some guy from tipidcp.com. it's as good as sulit/ebay but i've come to realize that most of the lurkers there are shop owners who buy and sell stuff over at their tiangges, so transactions are usually sure and fast, but then expect your item to be sold at a really low price. :P

and so....

// finally got my hands on a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact!

ahhhh my dream phone! i'm super duper happy! this is the most expensive phone i bought for myself to date, and well, i'm loving it (so far! HAHA). i have a few complains though: the loud speakers are really low, and the battery drains too fast for a 2300mah phone. i had to be on stamina mode forever, argh. but anyway, the size is perfect, the camera is good, and the design and build is just so awesome. i couldn't care less about the bezels though i would appreciate it better if the screen was stretched out a bit.

will probably do a review? idk. when i have time. haha

// i topped a module in our boot camp!

i can't believe it too! i was next in line to be truncated, i sweaaaar, so it was such a joyful moment for me when it was announced that i topped java web apps (so much that i promised my batchmates dinner. errrr i should contain myself when i'm happy no?)!

you see, i was always at the bottom 3, and the 2 people below me have already been truncated so i was worried that i'd be next! but thank God grabeeee. arggggg. T____T; yeyyy. i feel kindof accomplished, though looking at my record i was rather a very inconsistent trainee. hehe

pero you know what, seeing how much i've learned during the training, i can already confidently go back to Smart and take on the projects I left behind! srsly. chos. but i won't do that. yet. too far. yes.

// watching I Hear Your Voice kdrama

aaaah Lee Jong Suk why must you be so hot? this series is super duper kilig and seriously intense at the same time. i cried so much last night over one episode so my eyes looked so bad this morning haha. and uhm, i'm just halfway pa lang through the series but it felt like it like it already climaxed grabe lang. hahaha

this could easily become one of my favorite kdramas already, next to School 2013! hihi

// designed my resume cos wala lang
