Writing that pays: SponsoredReviews.com

wow, i never realized i'd be earning this much for a single article! well it may not be that big for but for a 300 word article, 20 bucks exceeded by expectations. compared to my previous writing project at odesk which pays 30 bucks for 3 articles with 500 words each + 3 rewrites for each of that article with 300 words each... this is definitely a big step up! whew.

this is crazy cool haha now i regret declining the previous writing offers from SR, hay. anyhow this is just in time... why do i have a feeling i'm reaping so much blessings this month because it's my month (if you know what i mean hihi). yeheyy! thank you so much Lord! >XD

for bloggers out there who are willing to post sponsored content on their sites, feel free to check out Sponsored Reviews.

This is how it works;
- first you create an account and register your blog and wait for it to get approved
- there are two ways to get a writing project:

1. BY BIDDING: head on to the "Find Advertisers" page for a list of active projects

if you'd like to take a certain writing assignment, you have to place a bid (by clicking on the BID link) on it and indicate the amount you want to get paid for the article. the advertiser will review your bid and decide whether he'll get you or not.

when i started at SR, i bid on a lot of assignments but none of them got approved... or at least none yet. but considering the length of time i've waited, it's safe to say my bids have already been ignored. haha

2. WHEN AN ADVERTISER PURCHASES A POST ON YOUR BLOG: sometimes you'll get an email like this...
just respond to it, do the assignment, and submit the URL of the finished article to the link provided in the email. after the deadline, they'll process your payment and tada! moolaaahh $$$

that's how i got my first earning at sponsored reviews. yeheyy! >XD

from now on i won't ignore a writing opportunity online (when the price is right haha).

still not sleepy but should sleep anyway

// i just finished 4 pages for the yearbook LOOOOOL more to go but that's okay! i just have one worry though, i designed everything in RGB and it would be disastrous to change everything to CMYK. it just came to me cos i remember on our site visit at Covers and Pages, their giant ink tanks are all CMYK though duh... regular printer cartridges are also CMYK. i'm just worrying you know! need to confirm this. huhu

// by the way! i just realized how huge Lenovo S880 will be at 5 inches, that's like a Samsung Note pala haha. and with palms like mine i don't think i'm gonna enjoy that! sooooo... i'll go back to dreaming about owning a Lenovo P700 instead!

// hey hey hey have i shared this yet? i just cashed out my earnings at ChurpChurp! lol i'm too anxious to get it, i'm cashing out the minimum! can't wait to get the check so i could flail all around saying "it's leeegiiit!" come on November! yeheyy!

// it's 4am. seriously? Zagu's pearl milk tea is such an extreme upper. >8D still wide awake! aaaaand hungry!

// well i didn't really think i was that kind of person but it's flattering to hear it from someone you look up to! though i have this inkling suspicion that he goes around saying uplifting stuff to everyone to uhm, boost their morale or something. you know, that's what bosses do, don't they? anyway, after that i thought i shouldn't have known about it or something. uhm for the most part, i hardly care about the good things i do naturally so it doesn't really matter if it gets noticed or not. and since it just did, it feels good and awkward at the same time. i mean, ayon. one moment i wished i was complimented for being good at the technical aspect of my job instead BUT PLEASE! with all due honesty and humility... anyone who would do that would be outright lying to my face and i'm frakking serious. hahaha now i just don't want to wish for that kind of thing. i know deep down to the roots of my heart that i'm never getting that. and i don't want to because for some reason, it'll make me feel worse. haha anyway, whenever stuff like this happen, i always put my expectations down. like, "oh i can't be the only one". and like, "that's probably the only strength he saw in me so better stress it out!"

k. are you annoyed now? HAHAHAHA i'm not really in denial cos i know myself more than anyone else and i confirm what he said was true. i'm just not sure how to respond to it. can't google that.

what day is it?

it's our 8th monthsary yeyyy!!! i would have preferred it that we just stayed here at home the entire day watching TV and cuddling (after all, we're both broke) but this morning smart called and asked me to pass my requirements already if i wanted to be on board on the 1st, so i had to rush there and pass all the papers even though i'm still lacking my NBI clearance and BIR chuva form. hahaha

onga pala, ever since monday, i kindof lost track of time na grabe. i feel like aaaaall the things i've attended to are crammed in a day. makati every now and then, mrt mrt, bus bus, walk walk. i can't tell which day i went where, it all seems like kanina lang sila lahat nangyari hahaha i feel restless already and i'm not even working yet. anyway, i know it's part of the requirements completion process. haha haggard sobra.

anyway, i'll try to remember what i did since monday:
err..

//MONDAY - i believe this was the day i went to BIR to file my RDO transfer request. i was confused with the form smart gave me because it had a different employer and a different destination RDO (for awhile i thought they put me in an agency as a contractual employee! the horror!!!). i thought about confirming it with them but they freaking won't answer my calls, the numbers they gave just kept on ringing so i just corrected the RDO myself then left for makati becaaaaause... i'm scheduled to get my X-ray. after that i walked to smart tower to inquire about the BIR forms they gave and also to clarify a few questions about the requirements. turns out they gave me the wrong form >XD so i had to go back to BIR to update my request lol but it was getting late already so bukas na lang...

kinabukasan...

//TUESDAY - i was informed by a friend that accenture just raised its basic pay for ASE's from 18k to 24k, and from that i gathered some of my friends (namely mark and jay) to walk in at accenture and try our lucks. the trip to their recruitment office was every bit exhausting, err actually just the part where we're trying to find the applicants' "entrance" because the mall is still closed, blah blah shempre nahanap naman namin diba haha. the exam was hard, specially the part aside from english (kalimutan ko na ung tawag). wala hirap eh. haha after lunch around 1pm, we went back for the results, mark and jay didn't make it hehe. i was told to wait for mine because it's still not there but it was already 2:30pm (i told mark and jay to leave na lang and not wait) so i just left and was told that they'll inform me na lang.

from boni i rushed to BIR to update my request. it's a good thing i didn't have to fall in line. it was around 3:30pm na, and i still have to reach SSS fairview before 5pm. buti na lang! i got there around 4 and waited until 5 to get my SSS number yeyyy. HAHAHA

after that, i went home to change clothes because i still have to make papicture as part of the requirements. hahaha nagmakeup makeup pa ko ah! tas di pa pantay eyeliner ko obvious tuloy sa picture. and you know what, i was disappointed with the kind of editing PICTURE PERFECT SM FAIRVIEW did. my hair was wrongly cut and i don't quite appreciate the way they even out the skin HAHAHA ang arte ko ba? siguro nga kasi when i got home i repaired each and every one of my photos! as in! i drew on them to "balance" my hair, and tried to add eyeliner too. haha sorry na. >:P

//WEDNESDAY - today today! aside from what's written on the top most part, i failed accenture din pala! they just emailed now hehe >:D better luck next time (or not). it's probably God's way of telling me i should go all the way to smart. thank you Lord! >:D then again, i rechecked the accenture site and found that the position ASE is not listed anymore on their job search page. it was also already taken down at jobstreet. i guess they're not hiring ASE's for now? hehe

//TOMORROW - what i'm sure of is that I'M SUPPOSED TO line up at NBI at 5am then go to makati to pass the clearance, then follow up my Xray results! hehe sana maganap lahat yan haha

so far i'm tired! >XD
loading bleach! yeyyy

still job hunting

hmm. reading forums have become sooo unhelpful in my quest for looking a job. the problem is that, i get to read bad stuff about some companies i'm applying to making them look less stellar in my eyes. i know i'm in no right position to be choosy, my goal for this summer is to just collect and select job offers but some forum posts are hindering me from journeying to makati to pursue some applications LOL.

crappy day! i didn't go on duty today because i supposedly have 2 interviews. morning at MISYS, afternoon at Azeus, and some decision making to do about Emerson.

i woke up pretty late this day so i slashed off going to the misys interview, after all the weather was so gloomy. i was so happy pa naman because they texted me yesterday and said i passed their parity exam. the one worth 4 hours, with 500 points total, 400 passing score, and has only 5 problems. i felt so proud of myself yeyyy! then i looked back at the posts at PEX and got discouraged. i know i'm not supposed to but... hay.

someone from Azeus also texted me yesterday for an exam this afternoon. i came in 15 minutes late cos i got so lost at ortigas hahaha plus it's super traffic and the weather is freaking bad. when i got there they had to reschedule my exam because their rooms are full already for some reason. haaaayy sayang get-up, pamasahe at sakit ng ulo ko haha

yesterday, emerson finally called back. and i knew it was already late because she offered me a different position already. an irrelevant sounding position considering my course. plus, it's still midshift. i dunno. hay.

hay. sakit ng ulo kooooo rarrrr

ayoko na magpadala sa mga forum posts! next week i'll be back at Misys, BPI and Azeus. also at Smart for a "possible job offer discussion" (well that's their term eh) haha. Lord, help me. >XO

a pause from counting sheep

God loves me! >XD

// cum laude! yey i'm graduating with honors this year! >XD i guess my computations were right, they included my uplb grades that's why i was only able to hit 4th. i swearrrrr i have a magna worth of GPA if not for my elbi grades. onasigenafoine. seriously! i want that valedictory speech, i've been dreaming of it since i hit #1 the first time. HAHA bat ba? i thought i could use it to reach out to the parents/guardians of the 190+ graduates and convince them that nothing could ever bind this batch better than a YEARBOOK. hahaha unfortunately, it's not my time to shine. aw k. nevermind.

// have i told you (sino? haha) about my job offer at pointwest technologies? i think i'll take it though i'm still waiting for better opportunities (i.e. calls). i'm not saying it's bad there, in fact i see it as a very strong job option because of the reasons below, however i'm in the process of exploring my "other" options hehehe

1. i will be most likely assigned at technohub which is only 30 minutes away by jeep, and 15 minutes away by Rainbow Express haha. sir HR says they're kinda crowded already at Makati so I can request to be deployed there. >XD
2. compensation is definitely not bad for entry level.
3. backreading on forums i read it's a good company who provides good training! good market value as an IT professional guaranteed. >:)
4. i won't be programming like hell! which is a good thing cos i never really liked programming. i'll be part of their sortof testing team. it's like if the software developers build the program, we on the other hand destroy it. yknow, find bugs and loopholes and blah. sounds fun really >XD

// before learning about the JO at pointwest, i walked-in at MISYS cos they have an opening for programmer trainees according to jobstreet. so there, i took their parity exam. a dreadful 500 points exam with only 5 freaking problems. more? passing score is 400. WOW. i've never been intimidated with an exam  for this long. as the HR was explaining the exam to us, i was like... whoa this company better offer a whopping salary if they're gonna torture their applicants like that.

on the exam though, it wasn't that hard. maybe the instructions were just intimidating cos they're too long. but it's manageable naman if you take time to really read it and understand the instructions. feeling ko naman i got the instructions, i just don't know if my score agrees haha.

// i got scheduled for a 2nd interview from Smart (3rd, if you count the phone interview), it was held yesterday and i totally screwed up so that's probably the last leg of my application there. i screwed mainly because of the programming test they gave, 7 problems, pick only 3 to solve, answer in JAVA. my freakin kryptonite. in the end i was only able to answer 1 problem, and i did it in flowchart cos i didn't prepare for java. i thought i was applying as Web Developer cos that's what the phone interviewer said they have an opening on. then suddenly, they ask you if you could also work in java/c so of course, you have to say yes just so you won't lose the chance to get in.

anyway. based on that 2nd interview, i got an impression that they give 20k salary. some of the benefits mentioned were... 1500 monthly load, 1500 rice subsidy, 3000 (or 5000? i forgot) clothing allowance, reimbursable taxi allowance for on-call assignments, also on-call assignments are counted as working hours.

even with all that, roles and responsibilities are a dragger when you hear about it. i guess Smart is looking for people who have maximum workload tolerance... or infinite i might say. hahaha

// goodbye Emerson for real. they never called back since the day i missed their first call. plus i forgot the name of the person who interviewed me. hehe

// my wallet, my big red wallet got stolen at Philcoa. all my valid IDs are there! including important (unliquidated) receipts!!!! >XO in that wallet are, 3 BPI atms, 1 union bank eon card, philamlife ID, philcare card, fitness first ID, NGCP trainee ID, Sm advantage card, laking national loyalty card, rustan's fresh card, lots of 1x1 pics of me and some friends huhu, my only copy of my TIN number, jeckie's 7th monthsary gift huhu.

AT LEAST WALANG PERA. hihi

// still no kwento about the 3-day summit. haha katamad. >X)

thesis, smart and pointwest technologies

THESIS IT! We've finally submitted our thesis (last april 17), our last and final requirement for college! this time i could really say hello to graduation! anyway, we had this book-bound at UP as a RUSH project and look at what they freakin did. The original title was, "Development of Computer Aided Instruction on Spelling", and look at how they pressed the letters. kayo na bahala tumingin, nakakatawa lang! hahaha at least naman they did a better job than those at FCM, ugly letter pressing, covering and binding haha weh.

april 19 was truly a blessing, i got 3 interview calls that i had to reschedule the other one. the first one is from smart communications, inc. (priority employer, Lord! have them call me back please!!!), the second is from Pointwest Technologies and the other, Askuserv Philippines. the latter is located at Greenhills and the rest at Makati so i prioritized the Makati located ones first.

i stayed up late trying to locate the two on Google maps and also trying to plot my walking adventure based on the map. Smart is walking distance from the MRT station as Pointwest is to Smart so i figured i'd just walk forever hahaha grabe lang, i'm not used to makati and i know it's not a jaywalker friendly district so all my walks and turns have to be exact hahaha

so there:

@ Smart

the interview was fine. i just hope they call me back. please please, Lord? thank you! i could really feel the competition, feeling ko all the shortlisted applicants they invited for interview have strong resumes! one guy on my table is a top performer in his class and the other one whom he was talking with has had years of experience on software engineering. hay ewan. >X'(

@ Pointwest Technologies

i arrived there at around 11:30 and opted to take the exam already even though it would cost me lunch time. their exam was freaking hard, in fact they call it "The Hardvard Test" haha luckily, i passed! and so i kind of moved on to level 2 and was given ANOTHER TEST which was way harder. ewan ko ba, gutom na gutom na ko nun! i thought it was over after the 2nd test but while waiting for the interviewer, they made us write an ESSAY! haha then ayon interview and blah. after that they scheduled me for a final interview with their software engineer 4 chuva, supposedly head of the team where they're putting me in. some kind of microsoft business analysis and quality assurance chuvaness team nakalimutan ko amp but it sounds a lot easier than the software development chuva team hahaha joke. they asked me to come back the next day for that final interview BUT ARGHHHH that's the start of the 3-day leadership summit i was supposed to attend at ateneo so sabi ko i can't make it, next week pa ako available, ayon so they'll just call me na lang daw and probably get me in another team (the softdev team) kasi the microsoft chuva team will be starting on friday already. argh talaga argh. sayang job opportunity. lechugaaaaassss. i finished there at 6:30pm imagine hahaha

ang pinaka-ayoko pa naman na sinasabi ng interviewer ay, WE'LL CALL YOU. because chances are, THEY WON'T! >:'(

i'll try to blog about the Youth Leaders' Summit for Good Governance SOOOOOOON when i have time lol kasi super dami kong sasabihin tinatamad lang ako hehehe

basta ang pinaka-nakakainis lang dun sa summit ay, I MISSED THE CALL FROM EMERSON because my phone was on silent!!!!! sobrang devastating kasi peg na peg ko na yun eh, i mean, so far sa mga na-applyan ko, shempre priority smart, tas pangalawa yun, emerson! nako nako nako Lord. hay...

how did i know it was from emerson ba? i called back shempre! good thing it wasn't a dummy phone number, unfortunately it's their customer service who answered and they're not capable of tracking who called me so they advised me to just wait for their call again. ayan nanaman, maghihintay nanaman ako ng tawag. hay. hay. hay. e dati pa naman when i missed a call from east west, they didn't call back! anyway, yun naman ay rejected call hindi missed call so whatever haha

Emerson job interview

i was not entirely clueless about emerson when i heard from a friend that he was gonna refer me there. but i know the name emerson is not a popular brand. hehe the only thing i know about it though is that it's an engineering company, cos we walked in there at their office at libis last year to hopefully have a few companies accept our resumes for OJT ... but they rejected us. hehe

anyway,  before the interview they oriented us first on what emerson is. and from what i learned, emerson is an american owned manufacturing company that focuses on integrating technology and engineering in finding solutions that would cater to the household, networking and oil and gas industries. it's actually a really big company that owns around 60 more brand or subsidiaries, most of which are not well known in the philippines.

for the most part, emerson is what lies behind the brand who contracted them. your cellphone may be nokia but the battery is emerson made. your aircon may be condura but the compressor is emerson made. your laptop might be HP but the motherboard, emerson made. they work like that pretty much.

their core competence though is in the oil and gas industry. they make oil plants for petroleum companies like  shell and chevron. in fact, emerson was the one who built the famous offshore oil field in palawan, from the construction to the manufacturing of plant equipment, emerson put it all there. but of course, Shell paid them to so they're pretty much like a contractor you can hire, and the entire facility was branded by Shell.

okay so after the orientation, i came to admire the company even more. problem is, when i get to the interview, i learned that the position i was applying for (associate web developer) has only night and midshifts. night shift is 9pm-6am. mid shift is 1pm-10pm. and both of the schedules suck for me. >:'( here i am trying to fix my retarded sleeping schedule and the world suddenly ran out of day jobs. why?

it's like all the CS related jobs i ever looked into require us to live ala vampire. hay. Lord. please give me a high paying day job! >XD thank you, amen! >XD

Options Job Fair 2012

freaking tiring day!!! i'm not even in heels and my legs are sore from all the walking, squeezing through people and waiting in lines, just to deliver my 50 resumes to 50 different companies to complete the job fair's bingo card (which is also required for our clearance. clever school huh). they'll be raffling it off and a lucky winner will receive a laptop at best. >XD i guess jeckie and i were one of the first to finish our cards. we turned em over at quarter to 12. then we ate lunch with friends, then went to UST to get jec's TOR, then to NCBA to get his F137 then finaaaaally home!

i was supposed to sleep but work came knocking around even before i could feel the inviting covers of my queen! >XO i have to prepare stuff for tomorrow's amazing race, text people, entertain concerns from the booths we invited, photoshop stuff for AOG then FCLC, and simultaneously worry about thesis. i wonder when my team and i are ever going to focus and thesis ALONE. i mean duh, it's the one thing we need to graduate. i can't believe we're taking it lightly like crap.

anyway,
what i like about huge job fairs, or any job fair in particular is that they always have freebies! bags, ballpens, memo pads usually, fans and blaaaah, yes candies too. who doesn't like freebies? i love paper. haha >XD

freebies!

 my complete bingo card (front)
back

stuff i forgot i was anxious to blog about hehe

Smart bro has been incredibly messed up recently i don't know why, is it because i haven't paid my bills yet? or i'm not paying as early as usual? errr but i'm really out of cash! grarrrrr

anyhow, i was supposed to blog about wednesday because it was quite eventful!

// CBTL initial interview
i sneaked out of the house to attend coffee bean and tea leaf's recruitment caravan day 1 (or so it says at a jobstreet ad) at greenbelt 3, frakking faraway land but i thought i had to be there at the first day or else i'll lose my chance to ever get employed. forevahhh. it's so hard to get a job nowadays right? haha

i came in a bit late so i had to wait until after lunch to get accommodated. well, it sucks that there was only 1 HR representative to take care of us all but whatever haha.

result? i passed! yehey! and she invited me for a final interview the next day at their head office at libis, she said that i'll be receiving a confirmation message tonight (referring to wednesday night). and well, I HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY until now. err that sucks. talk about how i was anticipating this job as a barista. >:( she was even giving me tips for the final interview! >XO

new friend, angel! >:)

// STIPEND finally!
still on the same day, while waiting for my turn to get interviewed, sir odie texted me that my stipend is already available for pickup! yehey! that's MONEY in return for our OJT services. yeyyyyy and that! will go to my latest internet bill hehehe plus some other stuff i ought to spend on >XD

// RANT: WHY AM I NOT GETTING A JOB?! WHY IS NO ONE HIRING ME?!
For some reason I feel like Chuck when the CIA was preventing him from getting a job outside buy more.

1. starbucks - i made the initial interview, i passed and they endorsed my application to ABS-CBN branch but until now, no one has called. i consider it a really cool experience to have passed their preliminary barista standards, we were 9 during the group interview and only 3 of us made it. the other 2 are now part of the team, working! and me? i haven't received a single call since that fateful day. >:(

2. S.A. - i passed all the necessary requirements and even stressed out that i was a former S.A. i was with the HR personnel helping to block out my free sched and she said she'll put me at the Discipline office to work under sir Pangilinan and that she'll text me. but wait, the term is running and i doubt they'll be needing any of my services soon. >:(

3. and now CBTL - argh. hahaha she said i was good, that she has no problems with my answers, that i'm a team player and that i'm invited for a final interview the next day. but where is the text message containing all the important information like the time and address? haaaay Lord.

why do i feel like there's such a conspiracy here.  i have above average communication skills (says a convergy's hr)! i have never failed any of the initial job interviews i attended (even the mock ones)! my grades are pretty colorful! AND BEST OF ALL, as a part-time applicant i have the best schedule ever, i'm free the entire week ANYTIME and it won't change for the next 6 months. isn't that what firms are looking for with part-timers? time availability? >XO am i cursed not to reach a final interview ever? it gets really frustrating when you know you're qualified enough but no one seems to want to hire you. i'm starting to think if some evil force is keeping them from reaching me. >XO

please please please. Lord. i badly need a job. Amen and Thanks! >XD

PS. then you know, yesterday i slipped on the stairs from the rooftop carrying the laptop, speakers and extension cord so my entire body is in freaking pain right now. hay, i now realized that falling off the stairs can be extremely dangerous. i always thought that telenovelas are making such a big deal out of it like it can actually kill but well! 3 steps down and i'm in frakking crap already, i couldn't imagine going all the way down. >XO

Ken Out Source Free Job: The Final Verdict

IT'S SCAM.

Sorry, this is a pretty late update! Anyway, if you land on this page, don't go seeking for any more answers, don't go looking for people who could have been paid, they don't exist. The hope of getting paid in this kind of job is slim to none, or none at all.

Here are my previous entries about Ken Out Source, it might help you:

Ken Out Source Free Job: Scam or What?
So there you go guys, don't waste your time on this like I did. >;)

Ken Out Source Free Job: Scam or what? PART 2

in response to my previous entry about it

after 4 days of spamming my online facebook friends with this link, I'VE FINALLY REACHED $100. well, virtually, that is. now i don't know if they're ever gonna forward that amount to my paypal or not, but for now all i have to do is wait .one of my friends said i have to wait til next month cos they only send payments once a month and i was too late for the march 2011 cutoff. she also mentioned that one of her friends got paid. oh well, HOW TRUE IS THIS?

i dunno if they auto-include users in their payroll but after reaching $100, there seems to be nothing i have to do next.
a very helpful FAQ page
so let's wait till uhm, early may if this crap is true. if it's not, oh well, there's nothing quite big to lose in here... first, i didn't pay anything... i just had to market the link they gave me by asking my friends to click. so there... we'll see we'll see. >:)

yeah yeah i know i could be banking on scam, which is why i did my best to reach $100 so i could prove if they really pay stuff and shiz. >:)

i've never read a review on this type of job offer Ken Out Source offers so, hmm, we'll seeeeee okay? i'll get back on this in a month or so! >:)

UPDATE: Ken Out Source Free Job: Scam or What? THE FINAL VERDICT

Ken Out Source Free Job: Scam or what?

i'm 80% convinced it's scam, but i still want to know for sure. the bad reviews i got from the net are from users who PAID a registration fee to be able to avail of their job offers, but didn't get paid for the job they offered. what i want to know is, is it the same for the FREE JOB option, which i'm working at right now?

in Ken Out Source (currently www.online-home-jobs.com, i hear they change names every once in a while LOL), there two types of jobs you can do: paid and free. in PAID, you pick a job offer, pay a registration fee, and begin working, then you get paid based on your work output. the jobs are basically data entry (form filling, surveys, copy paste etc.). in FREE, you register for a payroll account, find your unique standard linking code and have as many people click on it. they say it's $0.50 per click (which is freaking big for a pay-per-click job) and that the minimum earnings required for a cash-out is $100.

as of writing, i have already earned $46.50 ever since i started giving away my link 8 hours ago. NOW i want to know if they're really gonna pay me once i reach $100 or they're gonna suddenly ban me before i can cash out for several fabricated reasons such as illegal clicks and use of bots. I'M NOT SURE AND I'M NOT COUNTING ON IT, cos yknow how it goes with easy-money job formats.

i'll update you soon! >:)

haha i never learn, do i? hahaha

but we'll see! the more clicks i get, the sooner i'll know if it's really true! so help me verify this thing by clicking on the link below, as if not finding a single good comment from google isn't enough, HAHAHA

click on this link and help me find out! there's nothing to lose! just click on it, no signups required! >:) it would mean a lot to me!

either i'll have something to warn you about, or i'll get you guys as my referals. hehe >;)

The truth about CAPTCHA typing jobs (or just my usual paranoia)

CAPTCHA typing jobs require you to log-in to a website using the details your employer gives you. then it's just a matter of typing words that appear on an image, like what you do to verify you're human when you comment here. you type words as much and as correctly as you can. then based on the number of correct words you've delivered, the company pays you.

so, what's it for?

all i know is that it's actually part of a large illegal work. so basically when you get hired for this, you're probably gonna work for an evil guy though that doesn't necessarily mean he won't pay you, cos of course scammers also need people to work for them.

besides working for a scammer, other things to be suspicious about this kind of job is that

1. job description is inaccurate
for example the job posting is entitled, "DATA ENTRY -- type PDF to EXCEL"
but then the employer replies to your application with the real thing, that it's a captcha typing job, gives you a quota, username and password and blaaaah

if it's a legit job, why put misleading job postings?

2. the QUOTA. most of them captcha bosses will usually give you a 10,000 words quota before releasing your payment of around $10-50. 10,000 is a big number. even if you're a ridiculously fast typer, you have to put up with

a. slow image loading. it loads one by one yknow, and their server could get really fucked up at times. i'm into 2 captcha jobs right now and they're both damn slow.

b. excessive errors that could lead to your account being banned. which means, you're not getting paid. they could even fake this for all you know.

with those in mind, try to compute how much you can type in a day. it's too disheartening, you'll end up waiting (for the images to load) more than you could type. and they're asking for a minimum of 10k correct entries before you get paid? when will you ever get there, srsly? i'm not sure if they actually pay but based on the quota they set, it's almost impossible for you to get paid. it's like those pay-per-click websites that make you hope in vain.

and i think, the reason for this very large quota is that... they never really expect anyone to reach it. so when an employee drops out of the project, the company benefits because that person has accomplished a couple of words at least, and they didn't have to shell out a single buck for it. so imagine if 100 workers drop out in a day, and these people have typed at least 100 words each? then the company gets 10,000 words typed for free when they could've paid $10 for it.

and the last reason why i find these job fishy...

3. preassigned username and password
before you start the typing job, your employer will give you a username and password for the website/program you're gonna use. you don't get to create it yourself. which i find weird because, at least your work has to be credited under your account. i still don't understand this haha but err, it feels wrong.

so there, i've had it with MAKE EASY MONEY JOBS. they're easy, but in the long run they're never worth it.

argh. does this mean i'm stuck with writing forever? >:\

on coffee high

feasting on cookies and mochachillo. i did tell you i'm going to research right? i'm done! halfway! bwahaha but i was kinda distracted with these make money online ads i've accross while browsing. so i'm trying ClixSense and NeoBux. basically, they pay users for clicking sponsored ads. >:) sounds cool. hahaha ano ba. i've always wanted to make money online, i'm just not properly mentored. hahaha

my gusto akong bilhin asdfghjhgfdsa. @_@

ETA: i was curious about justin beiber so i searched him up on youtube. my god, he looks disturbingly lesbian, and he sounds too female. aaron carter wasn't like that, and sam concepcion too. hehe

Do's and Don'ts while working with Google Adsense

If you're a newbie like me in the world of Adsense, there is never really a solid way to earn big in your first few months, unless you cheat -- which isn't even a valid option because can never get away with it without being flagged by Google.

Perhaps the best way to optimize your Adsense earnings is to KEEP IT LEGAL. Boost your content, work on SEO, submit your site to listings and do some research on popular keywords. These factors do not guarantee you ad clicks, but they increase traffic which could turn into ad clicks, which could then turn into sales (on the ad publisher's part); and then you earn.

By keeping it legal, you avoid doing things that would violate the Google Adsense Terms of Service. I bet not 50% of Adsense users have read the entire text, but even without doing so, conventional knowledge has it that there are 2 major things you shouldn't do while working with Google Adsense:

1. Do not alter the code. Google has made various templates and presets you can use to customize the look of your ad blocks. As much as possible, stick with it.

2. Do not harbor illegitimate clicks. Don't ask your friends to click on your ads. Don't use click bots; Google is smarter than that.

By closely following their terms, you are ensuring yourself a safe trip to a pool of revenue. Be patient though, because it takes a lot of time and effort to firmly establish an income stream coming for ads.

This also serves as a reminder to myself, cos I'm just starting at Adsense and I'm hoping that eventually, I'll earn and learn from this.
